THE ULTIMATE EXPEDITION TOURING/SEA KAYAK! Special ordered with a full carbon footplate for using surfski technique for maximum efficiency using leg drive and core rotation while pushing off of the footplate instead of arms only paddling with footpegs. You can also out your feet out to the side like normal paddling or to roll it.

NEW FOR 2023, S18 EXP G2: redesigned hull to increase efficiencies with and without a load. Improved cockpit ergonomics for comfort and paddling effectiveness. The S18 EXP G2 comes standard with four hatches and a keel strip in Muli-Sport only.

We have optimized the construction for the rigors of expedition paddling whilst keeping the hull efficiencies. We have added a day hatch and bow deck hatch to make retrieving gear while paddling easy. The S18 Exp has a new heavy duty construction, MultiSport Expedition, derived from our durable and popular Multi-Sport lay up to withstand the heavy use of expedition paddling. A standard Kevlar Keel strip on the hull provides extra protection from what you may encounter on your journeys. All this so you can cover the miles with ease and safety.

Description: Single skin laminate hull made of Carbon & Kevlar® fabric, with clear gelcoat finish, and the deck is the standard Advantage construction. The hull is designed to be flexible and durable, but creates a stiff boat that can take some abuse in the class I and II rapids and shallows, but is also at home in the ocean or the flats. The Surf Ski Multi-Sport construction comes standard with an over-stern rudder and fittings for an under-stern rudder.
