Kingfisher: (an updated S16S and redesigned hull. Increased carrying capacity, longer cockpit carry handles, more stability, with similar performance. Updated seat, large rear deck hatch and repositioned bow bulkhead hatch. Thigh-strap ready.

The 16' 3" Kingfisher is an intermediate sit-on-top and the 2nd generation of our popular S16S. The Kingfisher has an updated cockpit with a comfortable yet ergonomic seat and a footwell that will fit both short and tall paddlers. Increased beam will make about any paddler able to paddle this boat and the modified rocker makes it easier to handle waves and to maneuver. The surprising speed of this hull will keep you competitive in your paddling group or a race.

Multi-Sport Layup Description: Single skin laminate hull made of Carbon & Kevlar® fabric, with clear gelcoat finish, and the deck is the standard Advantage construction. The hull is designed to be flexible and durable, but creates a stiff boat that can take some abuse in the class I and II rapids and shallows, but is also at home in the ocean or the flats. The Surf Ski Multi-Sport construction comes standard with an over-stern rudder, as well as a flush mounted Andersen Super mini-bailer.
